How to use a sheepskin half pad?
My mom and I got in an argument on wither or not a half pad with sheepskin needed and extra saddle pad. Then if I could show in it with or with out on. I'm looking at the Grand Prix soft Gel sheepskin pad at Doversaddlary. Any advice would be nice.
Answer: i use mine without a baby pad because then my horses back doesn't get all sweaty...but lots of people use them with a babypad under it to keep the half pad clean and becuase of how it looks.... they are very popular in the equ ring without pads under them and in the jumper ring with a monogramed babypad.... i love half pads and will never ride with a shaped fleece pad ever again they are so bulky under your leg!
