i have 2 pure sheepskin rugs, 1 is dyed grey and the other is the cream colour, 2 of my cats wont?

touch or sit on the normal coloured sheepskin rug. (not dyed.)
But yet they will lay on the dyed sheepskin rug. Have had the rugs 2 years now. When weather is fine they get hung up on the line to air them and to blow the cat fur off. but what could be the reason why they sit on 1 and not the other ?

Answer:
Perhaps they are attracted to the dye.
When I used to buy Navajo rugs, I would put them on the floor to see how the cats reacted to them.
The cats went for real wool as opposed to synthetics, and natural dyes rather than store-bought dyes.

No cat reaction; no sale.
